Last day in Europe

A bright morning for our final 5 hour drive up to the ferry at Rotterdam.

Last night

We are at our lasts top in Europe after another 12 hours and nearly 900 kms; Rotterdam and the boat tomorrow.

Last truck unloaded

Gary & Jim's truck all emptied into a Romanian arctic to go St. George.

Visited the children's hospital this morning and now en route to the Hungarian border.

Sighisoara

All unloaded at Mimi's. Just the one left behind in Vienna to transship to a container on the way home.

The end of the road...

Sadly mine and Jimbos trip is over... We've had to leave the truck in Vienna to be fixed hopefully by Wednesday next week!

We are flying back to heathrow tonight...

Alone

Jonathan and me in a convoy of 1. 3am start from Baden just south of Vienna. Now at Romanian border after 400 with another 575 to go. Gary and Jim stranded with very sick truck for 2 days.

It's not looking good

The truck has given up!

Seem to have broken 6 out of 8 cylinders...

Feel it turning into a top gear challenge!

Truck recovered...

Right - lets get booked into a hotel! Unexpected overnight stay in Baden!

Hopefully they can fix our steed in the morning and we can be on our way...

4 trucks are now in Romania... So we are now a convoy of 2 playing catch up!!

Think jimbo needs a stiff drink after his ride in the towed vehicle!

Gary and I are having a truckers coffee and a pre breakfast dark chocolate and beetroot brownie,

1 Day to departure

All the trucks are loaded and ready for the off tomorrow. 60+ tons of much needed Aid.
